Friends new and old, we have so much to catch up on! The Museum is FINALLY full of cuddly WILD mammals, WILD exhibits, and WILD children! I have been taking it all in from the treetops, hovering over the rails of our WILDEST interactive exhibit! *Perks of being the tallest mammal in the Museum*
I’m sure you already recognize Rosie, Wild Child’s Founder & Executive Director. Her and her husband Ian, Chairman of the Board, worked long hours to build and safely install a habitat for Wild Child’s very own tiny mammals of the human variety!
Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Mount Jackson’s CREW building AND for Wild Child. We had a few kiddos join us for a lesson about how Daddy Foxes have a very active role in raising their Kits, complete with a special Father’s Day Card craft.
Wild Child: Museum & Menagerie’s GRAND OPENING was a HUGE success!
Thank you to EVERYONE who attended this most special occasion! –For those who scheduled ahead for a Museum tour, you were a FANTASTIC group of listeners and everyone’s participation was quite entertaining for a Giraffe like myself! –For those who peeked in, we hope you LOVED what you saw and it sparked some curiosity to come play VERY SOON! –For those who intended to join-in but were turned away due to capacity limitations 🙁 our staff was SO HEARTBROKEN to have to see you go. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign up for one of our Supervised Play Groups led by our dedicated staff, or Everyday Play options where parents and kids get to explore their WILD inner selves! *While walk-ins are welcome during Everyday Play, space is limited due to building codes and you are encouraged to book ahead. *Fortunately Giraffes are exempt from the head count so I get to play ALL THE TIME 😉

FUN FACT: A Giraffe averages 40 minutes of sleep per day. >>> With that being said, I need to rest up for tomorrow’s Summer Camp all about Bears, Everywhere! See you soon!
