Wild Child is a new destination for indoor play & outdoor exploration
. . . designed especially for families who embrace our place in the natural world!
We recognize the importance of honoring our inner nature: as social creatures who crave community, as parents who long to keep our babies safe & close, and as carry mammals who have these patterns embedded into our very beings, bodies, and biology.
Mammals are our closest relatives in the animal kingdom but they come in many shapes and sizes. Our museum offers interactive learning for all ages and developmental play through a series of displays dedicated to the marvelous diversity of mammals – from anteaters to zebras, and from the largest whale to the tiniest shrew.
Most of us know what a museum is, but how about a menagerie?
It’s a collection of wild animals, often kept for exhibition – like a zoo.
At Wild Child: Museum & Menagerie, we watch, teach and wow your wild animals of the TINY HUMAN variety. (You’ll also probably learn a thing or two!)

Wild Child: Museum is a place to unwind from our complicated lives and embrace our inner nature as social creatures. Cozy up to a warm cup of coffee or tea, enjoy a wholesome snack, and watch your little one find their favorite mammalian companions among the Monkeys, Megafauna, or Backyard Buddies exhibits, for example. We have educational artwork, toys, & games for featured species.
In addition to museum visits for the whole family, Wild Child: Menagerie offers drop-in child-minding services, day camps, and classes (for kids AND parents!) Your kids will make new friends and master new skills while you relax or cross things off your list.

And most importantly, give our children the freedom to be wild.

You might be a stay-at-home parent searching for community through a playgroup and “mom meet ups.” Perhaps you’re trying to somehow work-from-home while also watching your little one without any childcare help. You may also be a full-time grandparent who needs creative ways to keep your grandchildren occupied without being totally exhausted by the end of the day.
